After another debug session with the vendor, we finally managed to correctly boot and setup the second card.
We're now back to normal with full redundancy on this core router.
The replacement cards fail during installation. Vendor and we suspect the card or the slot to be faulty.
As we cannot do cross tests in production without impact, we need to validate these cards in test environment.
Replacement card has been received on site, but we are now encountering some issues during installation. We are still working on it with the retailer's support.
One of the 2 redundant Route Engine is faulty, no expected impact. Replacement of the faulty card is currently planned ; Pending receipt of new card, faulty card will be removed in a few moments
Issue has been escalated to local team
