What is done : As part of annual checks, we will do a thermography on the datacenter 'DC3'. To minimize risks, this thermography will be realized cabinet by cabinet.

SCW - Hypervisors Upgrade

[PAR1, AMS1] BIOS and kernel upgrade on DEV1 and GP1 hypervisors

Location : PAR1, AMS1

What is done : We are about to upgrade our DEV1 & GP1 hypervisors. The operation will reboot the virtual machine and takes several minutes of downtime. Network configuration will be maintained but connectivity is lost during the reboot.

implement kernel upstream changes committed by Scaleway contributors for new upcoming features, implement vendor BIOS upgrade to fix major availability issues and improve performances of our DBaaS product, implement Ubuntu bugfix to the snapshot functionality to improve reliability of snapshots. Impact : 20 minutes downtime (per hypervisor)

Email notification will be sent and it will be providing more details about the expected time of downtime per hypervisor.

[DC3] Maintenance of HV Stations DATA 2, A/C/F1 and B/D/F2 + transformer TR F1

[DC3] Maintenance of HV Stations DATA 2, A/C/F1 and B/D/F2 + transformer TR F1

The planned preventive maintenance consists of :

-maintenance of HV cells on delivery station “DATA2”and sub-station “B/D/F2”and electrical protection tests.

-Replacement of relay DMCR on transformer TR F1The entire electrical load of DC3 is supplied from “DATA1” delivery station.

The “DATA2” delivery station does not supply any load in normal operation mode. Its switching off for this operation will not have any impact on the datacenter electrical supply. The maintenance of HV sub-station and transformer F1 will be realized while the load is supplied by generators.

Impact : This intervention does not present any particular risk of service interruption and will be processed during working hours

The planned preventive maintenance consists of the maintenance of HV cells and electrical protection tests on delivery station “DATA1”. The electric chains will be supplied from generators during this maintenance.

Impact : This intervention does not present any particular risk of service interruption and will be processed during working hours

-Control smoke extraction and extraction engine.

[DC3] - Curative maintenance on battery of UPS

[Curative maintenance on battery of UPS]

We will do the curative maintenance of the inverter of electrical chain A. Operations will be performed by our maintainer under our permanent supervision. The downtime of an UPS is estimated to take 30 minutes.

The operation will be done by UPS and will have no impact on your equipments housed in our Datacenter.
